Delete your
FMIQ Nexus account.
Last updated · October 2026
This page explains how to ask FMIQ Nexus Pty Ltd to delete your FMIQ Nexus account and the personal information linked to it. It applies to the FMIQ Nexus web app and the FMIQ Nexus apps for Android and iPhone.
How to ask
- Email [email protected] from the email address you sign in with, with the subject Account deletion request.
- Tell us the organisation your account belongs to, if you know it.
- If you no longer have access to that mailbox, say so and we will confirm who you are another way before acting.
You can also start from the app: open your profile and choose Request account deletion, which brings you to this page.
What happens next
- We confirm the request came from you, and let you know we have it.
- Your account is usually provided by your employer or the organisation you work with. We tell that organisation's administrator about the request, because they may hold records they are legally required to keep.
- We complete the request and tell you what was done within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your sign in account: your name, email address, password and sign in settings.
- Your contact details on records that have no legal reason to be kept.
- Notification settings and the device token used to send you notifications.
What is kept, and why
Some records are evidence an organisation must keep by law, such as work health and safety records, site attendance, permits to work, training certificates and statutory maintenance completions. A privacy request does not override those obligations. For these records we remove your name, contact details and identifiers and keep the record itself, so it no longer identifies you. Financial records are kept for as long as Australian tax law requires.
Backups are overwritten on their normal cycle, and deleted information is not restored from them.
